How early can the Level II be done?

Right now I am scheduled to do it on Friday, May 27th. According to my EDD, I will be 19w4d or so but been measuring ahead so more like 19w6d.

I am eager to get it done so wondering if I can do it this Friday (making me 18w4d technically). Is that too soon?

I have a call into my MD too but asking your thoughts until I hear back.

With my first DD, I had the Level II done at 17wks 4 days. They were able to get everything they needed; no issues...

Call and check because mine didn't want it done until 20 weeks. I was 19w5d and when I scheduled they were not thrilled, but it was then or 21 weeks and they chose then.

My OB told me 18-21 weeks. Given the circumstances, I would absolutely bump it up.

I believe technically it's 18 and 1/2 weeks, but most places won't do it until 20. Hopefully you hear from the doctor soon!

Both mine were done at 20 weeks. I have heard the later the better for test results. The earlier you have it done the risk of false results is higher.

Thank you - I spoke to my MD office and was able to move it up to this Friday.

I had mine at 18W 6D. I was supposed to go the following week at 19W 6 D but had to work and couldn't bear to wait. They weren't sure they were going to be able to see everything because was very low and being a troublemaker but in the end it was fine.
