I know when you register there you get put on the mailing list. But I think if you call a store the will put you on the mailing list.
Alot of times, when you purchase something at the store, you get put on the mailing list, it never worked for me cause I am unlisted.

When I bought my 1st baby purchase there a few months back the cashier asked me if I wanted to be on the mailing list for coupons and such and I said yes
