To share it with other people, yes, you need something like youtube, or other free video hosting service. Videos are too big to really email around.
You also can't upload to this site. LIF only supports still images.

You can use www.photobucket.com and upload a video to there then just post the URL. I think Youtube is public, but not sure. I think photobucket is private.

Youtube has a private mode, where you can share the video with yourself and 25 named people. To post it here, however, you need to make it public, no matter where you host it.

Hmmm, when you transfer your photos with the software your camera came with, it should also transfer the videos to the same folder the pics go into. I have a Kodak and that's how mine works.
