How do you stay happy for the baby when crap keeps happening?
I think I've hit my breaking point. We are going through so many legal issues with with the death of FIL and him not having a will. Poor DH is having a mental breakdown. My physical health is really sh!tty right now. I had to cancel my latest round of tests for the funeral and I can't get another appointment til at least mid April. I am having problems driving as my right leg goes immediately numb when I sit. Yet, it's so painful. Who knew it could hurt and be numb?
Add the fact that DS has two teeth coming in and he's cranky. How do you relax? How do you maintain a happy exterior? I have tried so hard to keep this family going through this and I completely lost it last night. How do you do it?

Vent about the small stuff!!!! Then vent about the big stuff!!!! Even risk sounding like a total BEYOTCH!!! It really helps to let it out!!!!! Oh and I'll find something that'll get the tears running and then cry out of shear exhaustion...works wonders.

It's OK to lose it and not to have a happy exterior all the time. You have been through alot....no one is expecting you to be strong....you are only human. Vent away...that is what we are here for.

It hard, I'm sure. Try not to get too wrapped up with the things you can't control. FIL died without a will so the estate goes to probate. Make sure you have a good estate attorney and let them deal with the headaches.

I use to cry hysterically in the shower. No one could hear me because the water would drown it out and I seemed to feel better when I got out.
I didn't go through everything you were going through, just daily stresses of being pg with #2 and selling a house so I can't even imagine what you are going through. It can't hurt to try this though.
We all need to let it out sometimes.

Give you self time each day. Cry, scream (out of DS's earshot), do what you have too. Life with a baby can get extremely overwhelming and then to have other things added to it, well, it's tough, I know.
Please know that God doesn't give you more than you can handle, even if he does sometimes bring you to your breaking point.
