how do you measure?
We're in the process of shopping for a sectional for our finished basement and we're having trouble trying to determine if it will fit through the door and down the stairs.
Anyone have any idea on how to measure for this?

Re: how do you measure?
Can you remove your door from the hinges or does it have to stay on the hinges? If you can remove it, then the inside door frame is the widest point you will have for the door. Remember to account for the lip of door latch. As for corners, is there a way to navigate around them so you can get the pieces to be straight when they need to go through the door?

Re: how do you measure?
you also need to know what the sizes of the sectional pieces are.
