How do you manage to take a shower...
With an insane toddler running around??!  I usually just shower at night but I was just so tired last night I fell asleep. I am trying to figure out a way to contain my exceptionally active 15mth old DD. She gets into everything!! Guess we'll just be stuck in the house till after her nap

I put her in the play yard. It's pretty much the ONLY reason we still have it set up.

I used to put them in their cribs with some toys, or let them sit in the bathroom with me with some special toys, or let them sit on the floor of the tub and play with bath toys while I was showering! Depends on how desperate I was!

i close the bathroom door and bring a couple of toys. everything is childproofed so he can't get into cabinets.

How do you manage to take a shower...
I try to take a shower b/4 DS wakes up. But if that does not work, i will just wait until he goes down for a nap.

We may have to invest in one of these! I just have a really small house

I used to put her in her highchair with some cheerios and water or in her crib.

I take one before she wakes up or during a nap.
If for some reason I have to shower while she is awake I put her in the pack n play. Sometimes she screams, but it's only for a few minutes and at least I know she is safe.

If he's awake I stick him in his crib with toys. I tried allowing him in the bathroom with toys but that turned into him sticking his head in the shower over and over and soaking himself and my whole bathroom.

At that age, I just showered when he was asleep - either at night, in the morning before he woke up or during naps.
Now that he's 2, I close all doors upstairs except for my bedroom and the bathroom and put his favorite TV show on with a bunch of toys. He's now at the age that we can chat while I'm in the shower too, so he's fine. I never gave him food while I was showering though, for the fear of him choking and me not being able to hear him!

Mon - Fri I shower before he wakes.
On the weekends I shower when he is taking his morning nap.
