How do you know what activities you can do at what age?
My DD is only 3 1/2 weeks old but I wonder what I could even do with her at this point. How do you know when to start with the rattles, toys, just stimulation in general??
Right now I read to her and sign to her (she tolerates my horrible voice)

With Brady, when he was up more we would show him like a stuffed doll/rattle thing and he would react to it but it would only keep his attention for short periods of time. He was the type of baby that was fascinated by the ceiling fan and would watch that for an hour. He consistently would watch his ocean wonders aquarium at about 2.5 months. He started being interest in toys at about 5 months. Each child is different though.

I think it is Babycenter.com that has a list of age appropriate things to do. It includes children of your DC's age. Simple things like running a silk scarf across baby's tummy.
