How do you get rid of all these acorns!
my yard is covered in acorns - how do you get rid of all these acorns its driving me crazy...do you rake them? suggestions?

You're right about the squirrels. They chew off the ends of my oak tree branches so they fall to the ground and that's where they get the acorns. Bastards.
Also, my dogs try to eat them but they're poisonous to them, so we discourage that.
I saw some kind of rake or tool that was supposed to collect them in a catalog but I just checked Gardeners.com and Plow and Hearth and can't find it.

we are considering now removal all the oak trees in the yard (we had two removed so far) its been annoying and damaging to our cars. I started to rake some up just making huge piles in the yard and scooping them up. Such a freaking mess.
