How do you file your important documents/ papers?

We were thinking of getting a filing cabinet but can't find any nice ones.

Where did everyone get their filing cabinet from?

I have a tall 4 drawer filing cabinet, I open all the mail in that room & I shred, file & pay bills right there.
Pottery barn has some nice file cabinets.

All the bills are filed in a cabinet. All the house paperwork, insurance policies and other important documents are in a safe.

We have a 2 drawer file cabinet right now but I do want to get a fire proof safe for the most important things like the deed to our house etc. As soon as I pay bills I file everything.

We have a fire safe file for really important papers like our marriage certificate, birth certificates, mortgage info, etc and then we keep other papers, like paid bills, in a four draw filing cabinet.

i forgot to add that we have a fire safe for stuff like the deeds, insurance policies.

We have filing cabinets for bills/manuals/warranties. Our cabinets are just standard metal cabinets ones we found at Staples, they are in the closet in the office so we don't really see them.

Any important documents (deed, titles, birth certicates etc.) go in our safety deposit box. We have a fire safe that DH uses for temporary storage of important docs before they are put in the safety deposit box.
