How do you entertain one while feeding the other?
I feel so bad for one DD who is basically sitting in her Papasan while I feed my other DD. Today I put one DD in front of Baby Einstein and sat with her and fed my other DD...any other ideas? I feel like the one not being fed is so neglected so I try and talk to her, but other than that, what can you do - oh and to add, they're only 7 wks old so not sure what else to do.

i've been trying to feed them both at once but if i have a time when they are not, i'll usually either put the other one on the couch with us and talk to him/her, put in pack in play w/ mobile on, or put in the swing.

I used to feed simultaneously which is virtually impossible now that they are having rice cereal in their formula (WHAT A MESS). They feed faster by the day so the time the other one "sits out" is not all that substantial. In the beginning the out guy would be upset but now they seem to be used to the way things go. If they get a little teary, I talk wiht them or rock their bouncer/put them in the swing.

same here, well Matthew is not on rice cereal in his bottle. I tried it on the spoon with himand he liked it.

same here, well Matthew is not on rice cereal in his bottle. I tried it on the spoon with himand he liked it.
Supposedly we start that in January and I'm already getting emotional.... they are growing up too fast!!!

Ah the swing that's a great idea!
For the most part they've been feeding at the same time too, but I have to give each medicine and burping takes forever so I dread when they feed together - although it does save time in the long run!

I would put them in the swing or the bouncey and sing or talk to them.
