Usually they tel you just to not use it & not check e-mails for 4 mos & it will automatically go away, but if you are having a problem I would e-mail the Yahoo mail admin & let them know you want it cancelled.

Actually, if you don't use it for a couple of months, it's not closed out completely. You can still sign on a year later, and everything in your inbox will be deleted, but you still keep the email.
