How do you deal with insane out of this world 3 year old temper tantrums? Kind Long

I can't take it anymore. It has worn me down and I have been crying on and off for weeks about it. I lose my control and not the mother I want to be. I get just so mad.

My son is 3 and screams, runs all over the place, stays right on top of me, you name it. Time out is a joke when it comes to these moments. It's like he's not behind his eyes and it can last an hour. I try everything but it's so so hard. I wind up yelling at him and I hate that I do it.

I have a 16 month old and I'm due any day with #3. I feel like I have no right having another child and feel like such a bad mom. I am right now. It's making me so depressed and unhappy. I have no mother, sister, etc. and that's all I deal with all day everyday.

I'm not there yet, so I can't give any wise words, but if you were a bad mom, you wouldn't be concerned about it.

Maybe you can give me some advice in about a year and a half.

first off

I can relate except it's not my 3 yr old but my 20 month old. She is a beast most of the time and I just find myself yelling at her and asking what's wrong with her????? I don't really have any support either, I know it's tough. This is one reason I find I MUST work. I'm sure you're doing the best you can. Maybe try talking to a counselor or someone for support especially with another coming. I found her to be even more challenging when #3 came along (sorry). Has your son always acted like this? Hopefully it is just a stage. Hang in there give yourself some slack and a break and remember, no mom is perfect.

Is he in preschool? Sounds like he might need some distraction/entertainment.
