How do you deal?

when bad things keep happening non stop nd you don't seem to catch a break?
what keeps you going?

there's always something positive, ya know, that thing each of us takes for granted? Could be our DH, our child, our pet, our own health, our job, a good friend...everyone has something

Some "alone" time.
Call a friend.
Talk to/vent to LIF for support!

I pretty much know that their is always someone else who has it worse and my situation is not permanent. It's going to take some time but eventually the light at the end of the tunnel will appear.

I pretty much just take one day at a time

I just tell myself, bottoms up...meaning, it can't get much worse and there's bound to be a light at the end of the tunnel!!

I have a good cry and i always can lean on my family and DH for lots of HUGS!!!

I try to say " It cant get worse" and believe that and work on getting it better.

I also think what doesnt kill us makes us stronger, and who doesnt need a little strength

and last but not least I remember how truly lucky I am. When I have no money I think how there are people who truly have nothing, no homes, no cars etc. When Im sick, I thank god its not cancer or something worse. When me and DH fight, I thank God its over something silly and he doesnt hurt me etc...

Be thankful for the littlest of things can give you a whole new prespective.

I of course know that its easier said then experienced so I just sometimes resort to praying for some sunshine!

The 2 things that calm me down are exercising and taking a long hot shower.

and drinking wine, but it depends on the situation. sometimes if I drink wine I make things worse and feel worse, so I have to be careful.

I say no matter how things sometimes s u c k, all you have to do is look into Alia's face, and all should be forgotten.

Try to think of 5 positive things that happened that day, even if they are as simple as feeling sunlight on my face.

I remind myself that just about everything in life is temporary. I try to think of another time I felt so horrible and like things wouldn't get better, and that helps to keep my mind focused on the fact that things DO get better.
