To copyright protect something you just have to put Copyright 2005 - Name of creator.
That will allow you to assert that it is yours, if soemoen copies it.
Then you have to register it with the US copyright office to be able to sue down the line if anyone uses your material.
For a website, you can copyright protect the text & graphics.

This site will do it for you, but I'd look into it to make sure it is legit.
It costs $100, which seems a little pricy. Some of that cost is the application fee, but I know it is $30 to register a book.
