how do you cope??
I am out again after another unsucessful IUI ... I really did think this was our month , our insurances does not cover any of this and the money really isn't the problem , I am just so physically and emotionally exhausted ... We are taking June off , but im miserable.
How does everyone cope ?

Go shopping
I really thought it was the copayments and medical bills making me broke but it's my failed IVF cycles. With every cycle I buy myself something nice- jewelry, bags, shoes, you name it!

Agreed.. but lately shopping only helps for a few hours. It's not long before I start remembering why I needed retail therapy in the first place, and then I'm back to rolling deeper into the black hole.
I think the best way I cope lately is through GTGs because it's the safest place for me to socialize where I'm guaranteed to not feel bad about babies, etc....... and it's also a big reminder that I'm not alone. Plus, what's better than a night out with the LIF ladies?

THIS! Penny is right. On a more serious note, I think speaking about your feelings, your struggles, your thoughts, your wishes plays an important role in infertility. Aside from the GTG's I also like to write in my journal, read success stories and other books that are informative relating to IF. Part of coping is having the patience to deal with IF. Take it day by day.

Re: how do you cope??
I just started seeing my personal trainer.
Although, I was not in bad shape, I had some weight to lose from all the meds and 2 failed IVF cycles.
I felt like going to the trainer and working out was something I had control of....even finally having control of my body
It was the best thing I've ever done, and I gained control of my life again, built my confidence again....
I also just started a blog...
