How do you clean your washing machine?
Just wondering if this needs to be done and if so, how and how often?

How do you clean your washing machine?
I sometimes run an empty cycle with just diluted bleach.
Or white vinegar.
Sometimes i will add a few drops of essential oil into the machine......just to keep it smelling fresh.

How do you clean your washing machine?
I got news for ya, if you have a top loader take apart the top piece where the fabric softener dispenser is and you will see how gross. I had to bleach mine out completely and run like 3 cycles...

How do you clean your washing machine?
My machine tells me when to run an empty cleaning cycle... I believe I had to use bleach in it. It's only happened once in 2 years.

I run the "Clean" cycle with a cup of bleach every so often (as the instructions say).

This. But my new washer has a light on it that tells me when I should, if I haven't done it already.
