how do you clean your child's toys?
i want to disinfect jonah's toys because he just had a cold, but i'm wary of using chemicals on toys that he's going to put in his mouth.
what do you do?

1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water in a spray bottle for the big toys.
Smaller plastic ones go in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Fabric toys go in the washing machine.

Soap and water works great.
If you have lots of buckets of plastic things like legos or toy cars you can have the kids do it. Dishwashers work well too :)
For soft toys, almost any toy can handle a washer/dryer.
For daily cleaning, a spray of lysol or the hard surfaces cleaner... its in a blue bottle... works great for killing germs

I don't Honestly the only time I really ever clean her toys is when she vomits on them or gets them dirty outside. When she was younger and her other baby friends would chew and drool on her toys I'd just wash them in hot water and soap. I also bought that Clorox Anywhere spray.
