Re: How do you....

I bought some spray from Clinique....works well!

ETA- I only clean once a month even though I know you're supposed to do it more often than that

Re: How do you....

I just did that tonight.

I bought a deep clean solution from Sephora for $14. Add a glob of that to some lukewarm water and rub the brush in it and rinse until it rinses clear. They recommend once a week for that and they sell a daily cleaner spray too, but I just do the once a week thing.

I replace the brushes often but I have washed them in Dove soap and water.

I put watered down Pantene in my hand, rub the brushes in it, and run them under water...when I remember to.

Re: How do you....

I squirt hand soap into my hand and swish the brushes around in the soap and rinse them until the water runs clear.

Same here- and when I do, I use softsoap hand soap. I've been meaning to get a brush cleaner though.

Re: How do you....

I learned this on Martha Stewart

I take some shampoo in a bowl of warm water and swish it around (you will see the make-up come off), rinse well, and allow to dry on a towel.
