How do I get urine smell out of a couch....I need some good tips.
This potty training is not going well at all. I thought maybe I can just put some regular underwear on her instead of pull ups since she knows that she can pee in pull ups and, of course, she peed while sitting on my couch and it reeks of pi$$.
I tried the Nature's Mircacle we use for dog pee, but her urine smell is so strong.
Also, besides the plastic that old school italians put on their couches is there anything i can buy that can prevent this again....kinda like couch protectors, KWIM. Maybe something at BRU or BBB.

are you using the thick cotton training underwear?
in the beginning he wore 2-3 at a time. they really do absorb. plus they feel wet.
we had 2 couch accidents...but i have slipcovers, so i threw them in wash...took clorox wipes to cushion...aired out for the day...put covers back on with a ton of dryer sheets in between them.

Thanks to my dog....
Arm and hammer cat litter box deodorizer. (something like that) i sprinkeled it on my micro fiber couch and then vacuumed it up a few hours later.

Good Old White Vinegar takes out the smell of urine..You may smell like a salad, but in the end, the urine smell comes out!

You should get some plastic pants to put over her underwear.
I wish I had some advise on how to get it out, but unfortunately nothing has ever worked for me, even the vinegar.

not the same but this should work...DD is a puker! To get the puke smell out of upholdstery I make a paste with baking soda and rub it into the fabric. When it is dry I vaccuum it up. It really works for us and the puke.

I have heard of some people having their DC sit on a bath rug (the kind with the rubber backing) while potty training, kind of like their own little mat.

Get some Nature's Miracle from the pet store. Saturate the spot and let it air dry. The smell will be gone when its dry.
