How do I get my babies to

...sleep past 5:30??

About a month and a half ago they used to get a 4:30 bottle then wake at 6:30 to play. I dropped the 4:30 feeding and they would sleep til 6:30. But the past few weeks, they have been getting up at 5:30, 5:45?? It's too early and DH and I are zombies again. DH works late and has a hard time staying awake on the road. I fall asleep at my desk.

They aren't hungry and wait til 6:30 to eat, they just want to play. But they won't just play with the toys in the crib, they want us. Ive put them in their jumparoos and they still whine for us. They don't get pacis anymore so that's not an option. And they don't hold their own bottle so I can't just give them a bottle in their cribs.

Oh and I gave them 2 extra oz last night since they wanted more and that still didn't work. They got 8 oz before bed.

Sounds like they are just early risers! DS gets up early, too, but I'm an early person and don't really mind.

We have the white noise. Maybe its too bright in there? Thanks! I'll have to try some sort of black out shades.

Usually only one will wake and then wake the other. Its a different waker each day though. Ugh they are killing us! lol

LOL. DS actually started sleeping later when we started running the a/c. We always have the white noise on, but for some reason the a/c is magical. Maybe it keeps the temp in his room cooler? We don't have blackout shades, but the light doesn't seem to bother him b/c he has slept later.
