How do I clean my Micro-Fiber couches?
I have beige micro-fiber coaches and they are beginning to look a bit dingy. Other than hiring a company to come in and do it, how can I clean them myself? I don't want them to look splotchy, since every little thing shows up with micro-fiber.

I believe you can rent the steam machines to clean them yourself.. home depot rents them I think

We have a microfiber couch and we were told to just clean them with regular unscented baby wipes (no scented, aloe vera, etc). It works great. Microfiber is pretty stain resistant in my experience.

i just use a scrubber sponge and dish soap - gets out any stains or marks

try baby wipes for spot cleaning. I use them on my dark microfiber couch, might work for lighter couches as well.

we have a dark khaki micro-fiber couch we got from bob's and we have cleaned it w/ a steam cleaner from home depot twice..

I have a micorfiber rocker in the baby's room - I've cleaned it w/ a white washcloth and regular tide diluted in a bucket of water - came out amazing -

I recently used Sears to come in and steam clean my sofa and love seat. They really needed it bc of my dogs. Not a bad price either. The did a great job.

I was coming online this morning to ask this very question myself! Weird.
We have a dark tan couch and it was scotch-guarded when I bought it 6 years ago. The scotch guard lasted about 5 years and now every time you sit on it sweaty (thanks DH, who passes out on it after going jogging) or with hair gel (oops, me) it picks up every little thing. Yuck.
I'm hoping it's as easy to clean as it sounds!

OOOH thanks for asking.. I have a capocino colored micro-fiber couch.. my dds have done a number to it.. I usually use wipes.. but its gotten a bit past that point. Wasnt sure I could use a washcloth and diluted soap.. going to try that now.

Thanks for the baby wipes tip! I spilled sangria all over the couch yesterday and the baby wipes worked! You can't even tell!
