How did you store your large baby items

Like swing and bassinet? Did you take them apart or store them whole?

I can either store in attic or basement. Im afraid of musty smells and bugs...lol.

Did you put them/cover them in large plastic bags (like yard bags)?

I was planning on leaving the bassinet together and putting a garbage bag over it.

Re: How did you store your large baby items

We took them apart and stored them in our basement. We put them on top of other things to keep them off the floor. Then, when we got them out to set up for Baby#2, we took off all the covers/cloth pieces and washed them.

We washed everything. And then if the item could be made smaller ( such as swing and walker) we did. Then thick black construction bags, sealed with tape and put on shelves in garage.

I took swing, exersaucer and jumperoo apart...legs off the swing, etc.
I store them not in a musty area but do have them in large pastic bags. I actually have some of them in those large BBB bags they give you to wrap big gifts in....they work great! They are huge!
