How did you make the transition to Whole milk from Formula?
DD's Ped. said start her on whole milk at 11 months. How should i do this. Should I give her one bottle of whole milk per day and gradually increase it? I do not want to stop formula and just give her whole milk without getting her use to it first.
Also how did your DC take to the milk? Where there any side effects?

we were on soy formula, so I did a gradual intro with the formula....
7 oz formula/1 oz milk.....for 3 days
6 oz formula/2 oz milk....3 days
etc.

We are using soymilk, DS gets 3 bottles a day. The first few days I did the morning bottle soymilk others formula, then the next few days I added in the second bottle in the afternoon and then after a few days he got all soymilk. The whole things took like a week and a half. Alot of people mix the formula and milk but I did not.

I just went right to milk. She was off formula in a day. My daughter didn't have an milk allergies to for me, it was really easy.

You can use regular milk. DS has a dairy allergy so that's why we use soymilk

We went kind of slow. My dd notices everything! We just added an ounce of whole milk to her bottle the first day and then 2 ounces the second day and so on...
