how did you find your
obstetrician? I'm pretty sure we want to deliver at winthrop when we get pregnant. our SIL delievered there twice and she's a physicians assistant so she's picky. I haven't talked to her yet about drs but just curious how you found out about yours and how you picked yours

my DH is a PA and the OB office is affiliated with his company. They came highly recommended by the others DRs. So it was an easy decision.
(Same thing for the Pediatrician, who we are meeting Saturday)
ETA: When I was in NY I went to Dr. Dolisi based on recommendations from people at work at LIF.

I found my new OB on here actually! I wanted an OB affiliated with Winthrop as well.
I go to (and many other ladies on here do as well) Dr. Hanauer/Dr. Dolisi on Old Country Road in Garden City. I've been very happy so far!

Many of us go to the Hanauer / Dolisi practice - they deliver at Winthrop.

My aunt was a neo natal nurse at Winthrop for years, she recommended
Dr. Hanauer and Dr. Dolisi.
They are both affiliated with Winthrop. I love them!!

Another Dr. Dolisi patient here. I wound up with him by chance.
My previous OB gave up her practice and decided just to do Gyn. She asked Dr. Dolisi to take over her OB patients.
I am very happy it happened because I really like Dr. Dolisi.

I also wanted to deliver at Winthrop and found the University Plaza group in Garden City once I found out I was pregnant. I have been very happy so far.

yep, I also asked the LIF preggo's for their recommendation... (my theory is, who on earth would know better!)
I actually received an FM from a nicu nurse suggesting my obstetrics group.... she said it was the best one affiliated with SB hospital....

I delivered at Winthrop as well.
My regular gyn got out of delivery, so she recommended me to the dr in her group that does deliver.
I was very happy with him.
