How did you choose a REA for a buyer agent?

We are starting to look as buyers for a house. At this point I would like to work with a buyer agent so we may find homes before we make it to MLSLI.

How did you choose a REA (we have no friends or family friends who are agents, so we are choosing blindly)? Did you ask for statistics or background, or just go with who you felt you got along with?

I found mine through this site. We had some issues with a house back in February and she was kind enough to step in and help. We clicked and after an exhaustive search, we will be closing on our house in about 2 weeks.

We couldn't have done it without her.

We started our seach by going to a bunch of open houses. We met one particular realtor that we clicked with so when the time came to choose a realtor we went with her. She was awesome and we still keep in touch with her and see her around town.

i met ours through this site... we haven't sold yet but she has been a pleasure to work with so far... i always have a million questions that she never minds answering, she always gets right back to me when i call, and she's very patient with my husand's and mine crazy work schedule that makes selling a little bit difficult.
