How bad is the city snow wise?
My husband and I are planning on heading into manhattan tomorrow to go to a few stores, have dim sum and chech out the tree. Did they clean up the city well enough that our trip in ( by train) won't be a disaster? Or is it not worth going? Looking forward to our date day but don't want it to be crazy! Thanks

its not bad at all- i just got back from 5th ave midtown and although the corners have snow piled up, 75% of the sidewalks are clear. just watch out for the goggle-eyed tourists stopping and holding up pace and the angry ny'ers cusring at them

Wear good water proof boots. The corners are huge slushy puddles that you will either need to jump over or walk through.
