How am i going to resist finding out?
tomorrow at my Level 2. all my buddies here are finding out their baby's gender!! the suspense is going to kill me.

Not an easy thing to do but if you know in your heart that you or DH want to wait, then stick to your guns.
These announcements are tough for me and I'm just wating for amnio results to tell me next week.

i'm going to try.... DH really wants to wait - part of me doesnt mind waiting but then i get so excited when everyone else posts theirs i want to know mine too!

Live vicariously thorugh everyone else and enjoy their joy of knowing. That is what I am doing since we didn't find out either.

I was not going to find out. It is very hard. But for me because I really do not feel very pregnant, needed a little help bonding to my baby. This was good for me, so I can really adjust to haveing a little boy!
But stick to your guns, I do think it is SO exciting not to find out. Make yourself happy by finding neutral bedding etc.. that you really love, I htink that helps to cope.

I may get neutral bedding and I am finding out. There are a lot of great sets. I think that if you are not finding out, it would help to have things ready--and there isn't much stuff that has to that depend on the sex when you really get down to it. Actually, nothing that you buy really HAS to depend on the sex.

DH and my mom are coming. I invited my mom because she's never seen a sono being done (for a baby) and this is their first grandchild - she's DYING to know.
DH is so set in his ways - i'd be shocked if he had a change of heart... he wants the dramatic moment of coming out of the delivery room with the news - the showoff

i don't feel very pregnant either - except for my extra "padding"

If you can make it past the Level II then its smooth sailing...BUT the Level II is tough to get through. Dang it I couldnt make it past the Ultrascreen!

Just tell the tech that you don't want to know. They are pretty good at respecting your choice.
I will be noted in your file and you could always find out later if you want to know.

i don't feel very pregnant either - except for my extra "padding"
Although I was getting bigger (belly wise), m/s a bit, buying furniture, doing the registry,etc...I really have not been feeling PG until I started to feel the baby moving. Then I realized it was real. That all I was doing was for that little peanut inside me growing and moving. Once I started to feel him, I knew he was "real"

I've resisted even with all the sonos I've had recently. And to be honest, even though the tech has the image up and asks if we/I want to know, the second I say no, she takes it down and I couldn't tell you anyway because it all looks the same to me!
A man came in my office the other day just to talk about my baby (happens a lot) and asked again if I was finding out. I said no, we're waiting. His exact words to me were: "Good for you. Waiting brings a whole new level of joy to the moment that you can't get back."
Oddly, I hate surprises and like to know all the details...so this one really baffles DH and my family!
