Re: How about W Islip

W. Islip is supposed to be nice, my uncle lives there and has only said good things about it. I saw one on mls for $649 on a lake, I am dying to see it but DH only wants one where we can put our boat.

Re: How about W Islip

You could so blow out the back of that house..you could add another 1000 sq ft easily.

Re: How about W Islip

Thats in a nice area. About a 1/2 mile from where I live.

The block that house is on is very tight. Meaning that when there is a car parked on both sides its difficult to get through. Most of those blocks by the Higbie Lane Center and High School are very narrow.

Very good area though and that is a real low price for WI.

West Islip is a good town....very good schools. That looks like such a cute house and it has some good potential for a home buyer too. Chat Icon

Re: How about W Islip

actually that house has been on the market for quite a while. DH and I checked it out months ago and they have since dropped the price. The yard is beautiful and they have done nice renovations with it, but there is NO room upstairs and the stairs to the "bedrooms" (if you want to call them rooms, they are more for midgets) are in the master bedroom! I was disappointed because I really loved the house and the yard and the district! IF you have the money to do the renovations you want, it's a great buy!

Re: How about W Islip

I went to the house 2 weeks ago!! Not great!! MY DH and I didn't fit upstairs and the master bedroom has the stairs to the upstairs in it.
