** Houses are selling apparently ...
The 5 houses we were planning to see, which were recently listed, are already in contract! I am so sad... one of them I really had my heart set on!
They were priced fair and as a result, are gone.
My friends bid on a complete handyman special and didn't get the house. It sold for over 400k in N. Merrick but everything needed to be gutted.
We put a bid on a house in Massapequa that was original everything! A total mess and it sold for over the asking price lol
Oh dear. Im feeling discouraged. My realtor said that for a while young couples were not looking to buy because of the market. Now with prices coming down, their are more people looking for a deal and when they find it, they jump on it quick.
Oh will I ever find a good house! i hope

that's rough... i wsh you luck in your search.
we got really dismayed too, then we found my house now that is perfect...
(just a little too east for our gas tanks and ease of gettnig family to babysit!!)
