House limits
is anywhere off limits to your pet, specifically you cats?
We don't want them in the bedroom, which is fine, but we also both have a office, and mine has scrapbookining stuff and some sharp objects and i don't always put everythign away
DH has a lot of papers and some small engineering tools
We don't want them to get into any harm, but I hate having the doors closed all the time, and they are alwys just outside the door waiting for us
are we mean?

Re: House limits
the only place that is OFF LIMITS to our cat is outside and in the boiler room.... SOMETIMES we will let Miller hang out on the top deck in the summer.... but he is NEVER allowed to roam around in the yard
and he LOVES the boiler room-probably b/c its really warm in there... but i NEVER let him in there EVER!!
i dont think you are mean.... i personally couldnt keep our cat from our bedroom b/c he LOVES sleeping with us... but everyone is different! pets need boundaries too!

Re: House limits
Our cat has full reign of our house...plus he loves to sleep on our bed with us - curled in DH's arms.
We live in HIS house actually...at least that seems to be the vibe he gives off.

Re: House limits
Our cat goes anywhere she likes. We keep our bedroom doors closed, but sometime she darts in as we open them to go in.

Re: House limits
When we're not home, we shut all the doors to the bedrooms so they're off limits. But if we're there, the dogs can go wherever.

Re: House limits
Our kitties have free reign in the entire apartment, with the exception for SD's room - since there are plenty of barbie shoes and bean bags and toys lying on the floor and all over (since i refuse to clean it EVERYTIME its a mess) - so for their safety I refuse to leave that door open.. ever... - plus no boiler room and no outside.. otherwise they have it pretty good..

Re: House limits
My cat is not allowed in our bedroom or the bathroom- the reason for the bathroom is she jumps on the counter and knocks over the ceramic soap dishes etc. and breaks them. Also drinks from the toilet..

I forgot about the bathroom - nope - they are not allowed in the bathroom - the small cat was very excited when we came home one day and I went right into the bathroom to pee and she ran in full speed and thought the top was down and jumped right into the toilet - it was rather icky... We dont want that happening again - plus they LOVE qtips....

We have a one bedroom apt. Sushi can go everywhere except our bedroom. DH is allergic and is able to tolerate her daily except he doesnt want her on our bed. Her FAVORITE room is the bathroom. She has a facination with the drains....and she love water.

the water thing excites just our youngest cat - she screeches like she is in pain and hurt if you're in the shower and she will continue until you open the shower door and she can walk around the floor and get covered in water... weird .. but it works for us...
