House appraisal
We are getting our house appraised next week and we need it to appraise for a certain price so we can re-finance...any suggestions on what we can do to help it go for what we want other than paying off the appraisal lady?

Re: House appraisal
Beats me, but I want to wish you luck.
There was a time when the appraiser knew how much it had to appraise for in order to sell it..I don't think that applies anymore.

Re: House appraisal
as an appraiser, I can tell you there's really not much you can do. Its all dependent on the comps and how your house compares to those recent sales.
Even if the appraiser knows what your "target" is, that doesn't mean s/he can make it happen.
