House alarm and baby's ears?
The stupid alarm just went off; I thought DH turned it off and he thought I turned it off. Anyway, it set off for probably less than 1 minute. DD didn't cry or seem upset but now I'm worried about her poor ear drums. DH started clapping his hands to be sure she responded and she did but I got really worried!

I wouldn't worry; it was for such a short amount of time.
Ours had gone off when the power went out in the middle of the night & DD was about 4 months old. It was on for about 5 minutes & she slept right through it.

OMG this happend to us when DD was 8 days old. Same thing....We FREAKED!
Callled pediatrician. He said since it was a short period of time not to worry. I was so scared too. I am sure DC is fine.
