I can't remember the name but we only stayed one night and it was right across the street! It was great because you could walk back and forth to the park.

I know it is not the same as getting a personal recommendation but
if you go to sesame place's web site they will give you a list of preferred hotels in the area

We've stayed at the shearton right across the street in Langhorne. Its nice. We've also stayed at the crowne plaza on trevose it's about a 10 min ride and it's also nice and much cheaper.

Re: Hotels near sesame?

we stayed at the residence inn and it was great! we got a 2 bedroom suite because my SIL came with her family too. We were able to put the kids to bed and then we hung out and watched tv in the common room. there was a nice kitchenette too so we brought some of our own snacks and drinks. they also had a free pasta night which included free beer and wine! There was a free shuttle that went to and from the park every half hour (if not more often than that) and it was a very short ride. I would definitely stay there again !

Re: Hotels near sesame?

There is the Sheraton right across the street. we stayed there during hurricane sandy (as we live in the area); there is Springhill, Red Roof Inn, Holiday Inn all within a few minutes. I think there is one more that Im forgetting right now...

crowne plaza in trevose. Cheap, great staff, clean room and a child care room while you eat dinner. The only draw back is that you have to drive 15 minutes to sesame which means you pay for parking...but you more than make up for that with the savings.

OH actually another tip i got...there is a mall next to sesame. You could park your car in the lot there and walk right over to sesame without paying the parking fee or getting stuck in the insane traffic letting out after the night parade

We really liked Springhill Suites (Marriott) and would definitely stay there again. It's as close as you can get to the park (5 min walk) and its only a year or so old, so the rooms are pristine.

Re: Hotels near sesame?

We were ther in June and stayed at Springhill Suites. It's brand new and very nice! You get a very nice breakfast. Make your own waffles, eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, fresh fruits, etc. there is a playroom for the kids too. Walk to park, very close. Rooms were beautiful and immaculate since they are brand new. We got a king size bed and pullout couch. The room had a mini fridge and coffee maker.
