Hotel Suggestions on Long Island
My husband are looking to "go away" for the weekend, but stay on long island. I am looking for a place that has a cute little town that we can walk around, and maybe have dinner. I would like for the hotel to be walking distance, but I guess that really doesn't matter!
Someplace like Montauk, but don't want to go all the way out there! (Also doesn't have to be near water). Thanks

Re: Hotel Suggestions on Long Island
DH and I went to Sag Harbor last summer. We spent the night at The American Hotel, we also had dinner there. We went shopping during the day in the town, very cute. It's also right by Wolffer vineyard, we went and had drinks before dinner. It was a really nice overnight trip.

There's also a B&B in Port Jeff - don't remember the name but it looks really nice. I'm sure you could google it and find it easily.

I'd check out the Greenporter in Greenport. I think it would feel like you're "away."
