Hotel Recommendations near Sesame Place

I think we are going to take DD in the early summer.

Also - without the water part, is there still a lot to do?

I can't answer the water question- the last time we went we spent nearly the entire time in Big Birds Rambling River. Chat Icon

As for hotels, there is a Holiday Inn Express, a Red Roof and a Courtyard Marriott, all in Langhorne. They obviously range in price (RR is pretty cheap, HIE is usually slightly less than CY) but are all clean and nice. RR has no pool, HIE has an outdoor one and CY has an indoor one. They are about 5 minutes from the park. My DH's family lives in the area and we've stayed at all three hotels multiple times.

I'm going in may. we're staying at the Radisson. We're doing the Elmo bfast then the rest of the park. I won't do the water stuff so I hope there's enough to do w/out relying on the water stuff.

we stayed at the Radisson across the street. It was great, and they have a shuttle to and from the park (there are several hotels that have a shuttle)

I think of Sesame Place as mostly a water park. We spent the bulk of our time in water attractions. There are bunch of cute little shows.

We did a day trip to Sesame. I think a lot of people go to Philly and Sesame Place. I've had co-workers do that and visit the Please Touch Museum. LOVE that museum!

We stayed at the Bucks County Sheraton which is literally right across the street from there...We could see Ernies rubber ducky from our hotel room window Chat Icon

They also have the shuttle which was nice and it saved us on parking...

There are "some" dry attractions , nut IMO, the water part is was really makes it special

Re: Hotel Recommendations near Sesame Place

we got a great deal at the Radisson hotel. It wasn't across the street, but it was only a few minutes away - very convenient.

Chloe was 1 1/2 and we spent most of our time in the water attractions or the shows. We did the breakfast, which was cute and not too $$$.

I would highly recommend the please touch museum. it was adorable and there was a ton to do.

No, not really much to do at all if you're not into the water part. Sesame Place is SOOOOOOOOOO ridiculously small and it's easily 90% water park. Personally, I would skip Sesame and go to Dutch Wonderland or Hershey. I thought Sesame was a total skeeze fest and a total waste of money. It was filthy dirty, the food was disgusting, and it was overrun. I didn't enjoy it at all. Chat Icon

The Please Touch Museum was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! It was only about a half hour from Sesame so I would absolutely make the trip to go see the museum, you won't be disappointed.
