Again, sorry if this is a stupid question but... I am craving a cup of hot chocolate right now. Is it ok? Ive stopped my caffeine intake so would it be bad to have one cup of hot chocolate right now? Im just such a worry wart about everything right now

Re: Hot chocolate

A cup won't be bad -- I'd say go for it.

Re: Hot chocolate

The March of Dimes recommends that women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant consume no more than 200 milligrams (mg) of caffeine per day. This is the amount of caffeine in about one 12-ounce cup of coffee.

According to this, you could have 30 cups of hot chocolate, and still fall under your daily max for caffeine. Chat Icon Go for it.

Re: Hot chocolate

One little warning about chocolate. I craved chocolate pudding for almost all of my first and second trimester. I indulged in this craving more often than not Chat Icon . Turns out, chocolate is one of the things that causes heartburn, which I have unfortunately suffered from my entire pregnancy. Nothing a few tums can't help, but just be aware that if you start to get heartburn, it could very well be the chocolate doing it. Have some Tums Smoothies handy and enjoy Chat Icon
