Re: Hospital bag spinoff
I packed toiletries brush, hair ties, flip flops for the shower, pajamas, sweatpants, or yoga pants and tank tops/ nursing tops. Also bring your boppy I found it really useful when nursing. If you have a vaginal birth you will be out before you know it so don't over pack. My dr gave me the paperwork before hand so I filled it out and kept it in the bag so I had it when they admitted me. It saved time and the last thing you want to do is fill out paperwork when you are in labor!

Re: Hospital bag spinoff
Two things I used the most:
1) Lysol, especially if you have a shared bathroom.
2) Earplugs - let me get a decent sleep without waking up every 5 seconds to the nurses in the hall, my roommate's phone ringing etc. I was even able to take a nap at one point while my roomie had visitors but I didn't have any.
