Hormone Level Question

My sister was implanted with two eggs on March 15th. She went for a follow up hormone level test yesterday (11 days later). They told her that her HCG level was 7 and that it should be at 50, but there was a chance that the egg implanted late so she has to go back on Monday for another pregnancy test. My question is did this happen to anyone else? She's in limbo and so upset, I'd like to be able to tell her this happened to someone else. It's so painful to watch her go through all of this for nothing.

I had a CP and my level was 9...it could also be some of the hormones in her from the procedure...Hope its a late implanter..but that number is very low.

it is possible that the number can rise and she will have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
it is also possible she is having a chemical pregnancy, the number will go down, and she will get her period in a few days.

thanks ladies, she'll be such a great mother. She has 5 more eggs, but as you know it's an emotional rollercoaster. I don't understand why it's so hard for some people who want a baby so badly and others throw pregnancies away.
