Hoping to go to Lake George this summer and...

I need help finding a place to stay. I am looking for a place that has cabins or cottages--something like that. We hope to be traveling with a couple of families and we want to put the kids to bed and be able to sit outside with a couple of drinks (you know, with the monitors close by )

Can you suggest a place?

I don't know of a specific hotel but you can look on cyberrentals.com or vrbo.com for house rentals. That would probably work well for you if you're going with a couple of familes.

We used to stay here. Its pretty basic but we had like 10 people spread out the place one year. We loved it there.

I can't vouch for it but my neighbors go to the same place every year (they have 4 boys from ages (23 months - around 6 years old) they LOVE this place and rave about it and tell us we should go. They said that it is a lot of returning families so people know each other and there are a lot of things to do.

They rent a cottage when they go. I know they have boating activities and a playground and pool - but not sure what else b.c I have never been there.
