Honest name opinion please.....
DS is named Jaxon. DC #2 will be here sometime next month and we still don't have a name for him or her. If it is a boy the only name that me and DH agree on is Lincoln. Don't you think it will be weird having 2 kids with "president names"? DH tells me that I am looking into it too much?What do you girls think?

I'd think you and DH liked those two presidents --- so I agree with you....
but I'm also the mom who wouldn't name her 2nd son our preferred name (Daniel) because our older DS was named Jack -- I was afraid people would think we are alcoholics.....

Go with what you like. The way I see it every time you call their name your speaking a promising future for them being they remind you of presidents your sorta saying to them come here president lol

I'm not crazy about the two names together. With Jaxon I would never think President, but in terms of Lincoln, I think president right away. That is all I think of when I hear Lincoln.
So when you say them together, I would think people would refer to president names.
I had an adult neighbor growing up named Lincoln.

First a name like Lincoln is unique and as such people will love it or hate it. This has been my experience in sharing the unique names we like with people.
As far as two president names, that was not immediately obvious to me--though Lincoln is associated with the Pres in my mind.
Boys names have been really hard for us and ultimately it looks like we are going with a more classic choice bc my DH is not willing to deal with the reactions our "unique" option bring, while I could care less if I love AND he loves it thats enough for me. GOOD LUCK picking

ITA...Jaxon doesn't make me think president, bc of the spelling.
As for Lincoln...I first thought of the car (like the movie the postman w kevin costner...the boy renames himself Ford Lincoln Mercury.)
On a side note, my friend is from Uruguay and a popular first name for boys is Washington.
