Home visit tomorrow!! UPDATED!!
UPDATED!!!
YAY! The home visit went really well! The midwife was inpressed at how much I had set-up and ready! It's a MIRACLE because this house has been a zoo for the last few weeks! The fourth floor is still a war zone! We talked abotu the birth and how I want things to run and also about how things go if I end up with a hospital transfer or have to deliver in the hospital. My birth tub is being delivered next week and we are setting it up in teh Living room in front of our fireplace so hopefully our little girl will be "caught" by her daddy in teh water in front of a roaring fire! I also scheduled a delivery of firewood for this weekend!!
I can't believe its almost here! As of next Tuesday, if I go into labor I can safely deliver at home!! Hopefully she'll stay in a few weeks longer because her room is still a disaster!!!!
But overall I am excited and relaxed about everything!!!
Yay!! My homevisit is tomorrow! My midwife is coming to see the layout of the house, go over our "Birthing Preferences" aka Birth plan and let us know what else wee need to do!!!
The house is still a bit of a wreck but all major construction is done!!!! My mom is coming over this weekend with my sister to clean and start washing baby clothes!!!
Yay!!!! We are gettign close!

Wow - I am impressed with your calm and collected demeanor -
If I didn't have white coats and beeping machines I think I'd be a nervous wreck !!!

Thanks!!! It's funny cause I'm terrified of the white coats and beeping machines and I use to work in a hospital!!

Good luck! My dear friend had to go and apologise to her neighbours for all the screaming! She had a wonderful home birth though!
