Home Office help
So I am redoing my home office. I would love a desk like this one from Pottery Barn but unfortunately, if I even suggested to DH that we spend close to $1,000 for a desk, he will seriously laugh in my face.
I have searched one website after another and am coming up w/nothing, nada & zip. My budget is in the $350.00 range.
I would seriously appreciate any suggestions, tips, etc. Oh, one more thing, I have slanted ceilings like in the picture so I can't get anything that has a permanent tall hutch.
THANKS!!!!! Image Attachment(s):

Re: Home Office help
What if you used the cabinets that they sell in target/walmart. They even have then in michael's and ac moore. You could use all different configurations to get the workspace just the way you wanted it and then get a pre-made desktop to go over the top. If they are not high enough, it would be very easy to build a base out of 2x4's to give it more height. I know it is not a premade desk, but I am alll about working in a budget. If you watch target they usually have those cabinets on sale, you get the ones at michaels/ac moore with coupons I think. And could be well within your budget. I used those to do 6 double closets in my house. I have them everywhere and they come in different finishes and definately in white.
