When you call around for quotes - what information do I need available?
What places do you recommend?

did you have your appraisal yet? your appraisal will have a value for your land and dwelling. we insured for a little more than our dwelling amount - you want to be insured for how much it will cost to rebuild.

I just went through this -
they all asked the following -
- square footage
- electric amps
- is there a pool or trampoline?
- how old is the roof?
- how old is the boiler?
- whre is the oil tank (if any) located?
- is there an alarm system?
- any dogs?
- any fireplaces?
- garage - detached or attached?
- cathedral ceilings?
- finished basement?
that's what I can think of of the top of my head....
