Home Inspectors

Has anyone used (or heard of) AAA Engineers (Ron Smith) or Tauscher & Cronacher?

Who did you use for your home inspection?

Re: Home Inspectors

We used World Inspection Network of Babylon.
Tim Gill, CRI (631) 957-5905.

He was EXCELLENT. He was so thorough, emailed us the inspection and even gave us pictures. We called and he did it the next day. We called several times with questions and he's been nothing but helpful.

Re: Home Inspectors

I loved our engineer. His name was Jim & He is with Home Pro of Bellmore. He was so helpful & informative & made me & Dh feel really good about our decision as well as what we needed to do on the house. He went into every room told us what he thought needed to be updated & then let us ask as many questions as we wanted. With the termite inspection it was $415. Their number is 516-781-4676. They fill out a book as you walk around & there is so much info in the book to help you figure out what needs to be updated sooner than other things. Totally learned alot & say that Corinne McBride recommend you if you use them.

We used World Inspection Network also, our inspector was John Glennon and he was very helpful as well. He is based in RVC and his number is 516-333-9395. I highly recommend him. FM for any more details!

Re: Home Inspectors

Just make sure that your home inspector is licensed by NY State. As of the New Year they are required to be licensed by the State. Here is a good website for referals
National Association of Home Inspectors
