home inspection
Can anyone recommend a home inspector? also what do they usually cost? thank so much!!

We used a great guy, I think his name was Jason Hicks with WIN Home Inspections. He was responsive, thorough and very nice.
He is based in Garden City and his number is 516-510-7771

I recommend Tony Sabatino from Sundance Home Inspections
he is $450 I believe- he does a full report with pictures and really explains everything to you so you understand

I work a lot with Bob Leone, National Property Inspections. I actually just recommended him to my own brother-in-law and sister-in-law recently!
He can do both the home inspection and the termite inspection (some home inspectors aren't certified to do both, but it's good to do both at the same time, so definitely ask whoever you decide to go with if they can).

The inspection will usually run $400-$500.

Totally agree! Tony Sabatino was GREAT to work with! We are buying a house that was a work in progress in terms of construction and he said that he will gladly come back FOR FREE once the work is finished to ensure that it was all done properly and up to code!

We used Rich Bodendorf from WIN Home Inspection. He was great and did the inspection on 2 seperate houses for us. If you want his # just fm me.
