Holy Sense of Smell

I cant deal! 17 weeks PG and the last 2 days my sense of smell has been so sensitive. It is so bad I have a headache.

Has this happened to anyone? Did it last long? Im ready to put a clothes pin on my nose.

When I was pregnant with the twins my sense of smell was unreal!!! It lasted a long time. If I remember correctly it was most of the first and second trimesters.

Oh my GOD yes!
Before i even peed on a stick I just KNEW I was pregnant becasue I walked into a shoe store and the smell of the shoes and leather was OVERWHELMING to me.

I used to say I could get a side job as a drug or bomb sniffing dog!

I woudl be in the living room, and DH would spray air fresher in his bathroom like 20 feet away and behind TWO closed doors and I'd smell it.

The smells at work would overwhelm me.

It was horrible.
I would smell people's breath as they spoke to me

It faded I think after the first tri- but never fully got back to normal until after delivering

Oh yes, I remember those days . I became a super sniffer.

YES! more so when I was pregnant with Jack. My house smelled like rotten milk to me. I was the only person who smelled it but it was AWFUL! As soon as I got to my front door, I could smell it. Made me sick for months.

yes it's crazy for me - the whole house smelled horrible and i was sick for 6 months
