Holy nap -do I wake him?!

Ryan did pretty well (for him) last night sleep-wise.
In at 8:15PM, up at 11:15PM but all it took was me giving him the paci and shushing for a minute. He was back down til 3 (that's actually pretty good for him!) and then went back with a little shushing from me but woke up soon after so I fed him from one side and he was back down by 4AM and slept til almost 7AM. I thought he'd be up for the day but I fed him from one side and he rolled over and went to sleep in my lap, so I moved him into the swing and he's been sleeping since around 7:30AM. Time to wake him? A 3-hour nap is unheard of around here - we barely get that stretch at night!

Re: Holy nap -do I wake him?!

sounds like a growth spurt to me. I would let him sleep as long as he is comfortable.

It must be in the air because my DS woke up at 6:30 and at 7:30 crawled under my kitchen table and put his head down for a nap (usually he goes in around 10 am) ...I scooped him up and put him in his crib and he slept from 7:30 to 10:15!

I know its much later and he is probably awake by now Chat Icon but I figure I'll give my opinion anyway!
I would wake him at the 3:30 hour mark are so. Get him on a "daytime" schedule. I think having a daytime routine and schedule really helps with the nightime.

Glad to hear he slept good last night! Must have been the fresh air!

Re: Holy nap -do I wake him?!

Definately get some fresh air if you can...that always helps. Great Job ryan with a 3 1/2 hour nap...
