holy hip pain batman
i'm on modified bed rest and i am supposed to lay down on my left side as much as possible. but now, even after a short 1.5hr nap, my hips hurt so bad! waking up in the morning is dreadful, i'm in so much pain. i even use a body pillow between my legs. i've tried sleeping without it. i rotate back& forth from left side to right side and no difference. holy crap.
if i have to deal with this for the next 12 weeks, i'll start sleeping standing up!

Re: holy hip pain batman
I will be 30w tomorrow and I have been dealing with this since 4 months ! Its horrible, I get no sleep. I constantly turn from side to side every hour. I bought the snoogle a long time ago and it never helped. I lay on one side for an hour, then it starts hurting so I have to lay on my back for a lil bit because if I flip to the other side it will still hurt!

Are you using a pillow in between your legs? This might help.

Re: holy hip pain batman
I am 34 weeks and my Snoogle finally helped stop my hip/lower back pain. I think it helps align everything so I can sleep more comfortable

This is me too. No pillows help. I have bad hips and lower back to begin with so with all 3 of my pregnancies I have had to spend much of the night on my back otherwise I'm completely crippled by morning. I just prop myself up a little. Actually with my 1st I spent a few weeks sleeping in a recliner. It sux! But nothing I can do about it.

Re: holy hip pain batman
Im 32 going on 33 weeks and have had the worst hip pain mow for weeks! Maybe even a month. The middle of the night is even worse! I can barely get out of bed my left hip hurts so bad! And im up every hour i try changing positions but it doesnt help relieve it that much cause i still end up on my side...
I just remind myself its all for my baby girl...
I also find nice hot showers with the water beating on my hip/back feels amazing!

Re: holy hip pain batman
This has just started for me too. I'm a side sleeper naturally so I have no idea why this is happening. I am hoping it does not get worse. I plan on buying a snoogle.

Re: holy hip pain batman
I'm 24 weeks and I wake up a few times per night with awful hip pain... I also tried the pillow between my knees. I'm starting to wonder if I should invest in a pregnancy pillow.
