Holy Growth Sonogram
At 36 weeks, this baby is measuring a whopping 8lbs!!! (I know it's only an estimate but....). ALL of the measurements (stomach, legs, arms, etc.) are measuring at over 39 weeks!! The sono tech couldn't get over how big this baby is and must have asked me three times if I have GD (I don't!). If this baby doesn't make an appearance on his/her own in the next two weeks, I'll be having a c-section!!!! The end is near!!

wow... well if it's any consulation...with my DD the growth sono the day before my induction had her a whole pound heavier that she actually was.

Yes, that makes me feel a little better  But even 7lbs at 36 weeks is a little scary, too!!

c-section but not solely due to size....I was not dialating and my baby was in a BIT of distress so we went with the c-section
It was a WONDERFUL experience

Oh my now you have me thinking! I have my 36 wk apt tomorrow and they did not mention another growth sono the last one I had was 4 wks ago and we had to schedule that separately and baby was about 4 LBs...... and I know I have gained a lot more baby weight since then. I wonder if they are just going to do it
