Holy Botox

Made ya look...ha!

got my second treatment. I started to look tired again and that worry line was niggling away at me.

Lasted 6 months..and they have a rewards plan towards future visits. Cool!

I was so scared to do it but honestly I'm glad I did. Just thought I would give the update.

I really want to do this too. My forehead seems like it sprouted lines overnightChat Icon So you only have to go like twice a year? Do you have to continue once you start (like it won't look worse than before the botox right?) Thanks! I'm seriously considering this!

Only twice a year so far..it actually helps to get it in a little different spots each time so your forehead doesn't compensate in other areas. Weird wrinkles on the side and such.

If you keep it up you won't develop even deeper wrinkles because you are prevented from crunching up. So it can keep the wrinkles at bay for a while..we'll see.

Compliments I get range from, I look good to not knowing how old I am. I think it just makes me look less haggard and tired. The younger thing is subjective.

They take before and afters. They make you crunch up to see just how strong your muscles are and they gauge where you need it and how much.

I got more this tim,e. The first time I asked for a very light treatment because I was unsure. You go back in two weeks to see if any adjustments are needed. I did the first time but may not need it now.

Do it because it makes you feel good. Most people won't even notice.

Re: Holy Botox

I see Dr. Lilly Rose at Frank Demento's office in Garden City. Demento & Associates.

It's $400 per area. At first I just did the glabella (between the eyes) and this time I also did forehead. Total $600.

They have a points system too where you accumulate points for future treatments.

Next year I will put some money into my fsa for it so I can at least get the tax break.

There are places that do it for less but they are my docs and I felt comfy with them. My eye docs do it too and they are priced the same.

Re: Holy Botox

I look less angry too...less worried..that wrinkle between my eyes bugs the crap out of me.
What's also nice is that shallow wrinkles seem to disappear..like you never had them.
